Technically called Rockwall, is a lightened single-component cement mortar, ideal for creating natural features such as rocks, waterfalls, artificial stones, pebbles, fountains with a realistic appearance and a great scenic impact that allows us to create unique and attractive works.
It can also be used to decorate amusement parks with staircases, rocky walls, trees, arches, fireplaces or artificial caves, or indoors as decoration in spas, saunas, Turkish baths and swimming pools. Rockwall is available in basic colours such as white and beige.
Rockwall is machined freehand. First the mortar is applied, for a minimum thickness of 2cm and up to a maximum of 20 cm. In the following days, before it is completely dry, it is worked by hand and/or with professional moulds to give the desired/required texture. Finally, the technical staff will colour it with appropriate dyes. There are about 20 colours and shades available to create the final natural effect.
These surfaces are protected with a colourless water-repellent resin that protects them from weathering and water salinity, and makes them waterproof. These artificial stones have a long life span and good to very-good impact resistance.
This type of work is carried out on already existing coverings such as wood, iron, concrete and plasterboard and/or various bricks, and polystyrene by preparing the base in a suitable way for the construction, or starting from the construction and creating a specific structure, generally with iron and steel mesh and then modelling depending on the end design.
